A Bit About Me

I believe that marketing, at its core, is about building relationships. And in order to build a powerful brand, you need to build irrational relationships with your audience and community. The foundation of that irrational relationship starts with stories that connect with your audience at an emotional level, not just rational.

Work Experience

Nike

I held various roles through my 10 years at Nike, starting at Nike Japan, then to North America, and eventually into the Global marketing team. My main contributions were developing brand strategies, writing creative briefs that inspired teams, and crafting narratives that connected emotionally with our intended audience.

As the Brand Director, I led the brand teams for Samsung and Activition to help develop strategies and campaigns that tapped into the broader cultural context.

In my role as the Account Director, I helped develop strategy and manage teams for Sony Electronics and Expedia where we fostered and maintained strong relationships in order to build trust between the agency and client relationship.

TBWA\Chiat\Day

I held various roles during my 10 year tenure at one of the most creative agencies in the world, bringing in over $300M in billings of new business, and also managing brands such as Sony PlayStation, Nissan, Pedigree, and O'Neill Surf.
